109 | Uncovering Unrecognized Early Childhood Trauma with Colin Kingsmill

Colin Kingsmill is a transformational coach. Prior to dedicating himself to helping people make meaningful shifts in their lives, Colin worked successfully for a decade in Swiss banking. Today, as the founding partner of Whole Human Coaching, Colin is on a mission to help people discover their humanity to change the world. He holds an MBA from Saint Xavier University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science, History, and French from Simon Fraser University.

Colin joins me today to discuss what happens when insight opens us up to going deeper into who we are, how we are, and who we want to be in the world. He shares how letters from his late mother started his journey into uncovering unrecognized early childhood trauma. He describes how he began working on his trauma through therapy and studying and discusses his road to spiritual awakening. Colin also discusses how he is drawing from his personal experiences to help younger people who tend to make decisions through the lens of earlier childhood trauma.

“Watch and be aware of the coping mechanisms in your day-to-day life. If you can go find the origin story of that mechanism, it can be liberating.” - Colin Kingsmill
